Blake Oliver head of technology and marketing for HPC joins Steve Major on the podcast today.
Blake is the the head of technology and marketing for HPC, an online CPA firm with 23+ years of experience. As a Xero Platinum Partner, HPC specializes in selecting and implementing cloud accounting solutions for small businesses. Prior to joining HPC, he founded Cloudsourced Accounting, an online bookkeeping and cloud integration firm that grew to serve hundreds of clients. Cloudsourced Accounting was acquired by HPC in July of 2015. Before all of that, he earned his bachelor’s degree at Northwestern University, where he majored in cello performance.
Blake was on of the first Xero bookkeepers in the USA. When he was a musician (cello) bookkeeping was his day job.
With 200+ technology add-ons with Xero he was a technology consultant.
Cloudsourced Accounting was not positioned to do all of the work whereas HPC enabled them to do everything. Much higher value.
