To really care means that the business is totally focused on value. What is of value to the customer, how can you continue to deliver extraordinary value, how can you continue to understand what is value to your client etc.
It seems that too many professional service firms are focused on efficiency and profit rather than value. Value is not some cosmetic dressing. Value is not some nice words. Value starts at the core of the business and extends out to every interaction your firm has with each and every client.
In this episode we discuss why you must have value at the core. Professional and consulting firms are facing significantly disruption. When you are facing disruption the key to meeting the challenges is to always focus on what is of value to the customer.
There are two options when facing disruption :-
- Get out
- Take it to a higher level.
To take the business to a higher level you must understand what is of value to your customer. Then when you understand how that value is changing then design a business to continue to deliver that value.
